Parade Information

The Slice or Shoreview Parade is easy, fun, short and broadcast on local television.

The parade fee for 2010 is $75 until July 6, and will then be $100 for a late fee. The money goes to fund the cost of producing the parade, signs, postage and for some of the bands and the clown clubs to appear. Parade fees are refundable, only if written notice is given by the parade entrant 30 days prior to the event. All funds must be payable to City of Shoreview.

Parade Route

The parade begins at 10 a.m. The actual parade route runs eastward on Cannon Avenue from Vivian Avenue to Victoria Street, then turns north on Victoria Street to Island Lake County Park. Near the end of the parade route, Cable TV Channel 15 will have a broadcast booth setup with cameras and live announcers. The parade ends at the entrance to Island Lake County Park.
